Introduction
The training of healthcare representatives in anatomy, physiology, pathology and pharmacology is a laborious task for training mangers. Yet this information is vital to the background knowledge for current, new representatives and internal staff who wish to develop as medical representatives.
The Smart Group developed and have presented, over the last thirteen years, courses specifically tailored and continually upgraded, for the above candidates.
Training is conducted on a modular basis. Lectures are held in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town, over three months. The course may also be completed by correspondence (self-study).
Delegates are required to complete self-assessments and mini-tests. The course is evaluated by means of an examination, a role-play and a territory management assignment. A certificate is issued to all delegates attaining a pass mark of 70%

Who should attend
Representative's requiring accreditation, either under the new marketing code of practice.
Duration: 13 weeks part-time lectures on Saturday mornings (in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban) or via distance learning.
